It shouldn’t have been that way MENT should definitely raise your estrogen higher than testosterone unless your running 2.3g a wk of testosterone estimated. MENT is 2300 anabolic testosterone is 100 anabolic.

Im really surprised that you didn’t have BP issues or estrogen issues your really lucky or something is off.

My total test when I was a full-tilt was 1.4g/week, pretty much divided evenly between prop and enanthate.

I really think the 700mg/week of Mast prop plus Adex of .5 EOD did the trick.

Just have a weak ass chest and arms like me and voila.
Weak arms. WTF are you talking about bro. Especially at 55. Looking good man. I want to try the Helios eventually also. Can’t ditch the muffin top!!

You are very magnanimous! Thank you. My arms are 18" around and seem to not want to grow beyond that. It ends up limiting my chest development. I suppose I need to do rack lifts or something that works chest without requiring huge tris. But I ain’t gonna quit. The great thing about being 55 is I’m on permanent TRT, so I do not have to worry about bringing the boys back and restoring natural test production. I keep 'em full with HCG, but their basically sexual ornaments, not functional. That provides a lot of flexibility I didn’t have when I was young. I’ll post a compare pic in 6-12 months.

BTW, @Rusty, I hope you are doing well. We are all with you right there in the struggle, brother.

Thanks brother! Try doing peck dech flys at different hand placement heights. Pick three or four spots to pause and hold three to four seconds each. Also for for some reason dips at a certain width really work the chest hard.

Thanks! I actually have started doing cable flys at three different heights to hit the entire chest. And love dips. Today is chest day. This is what I’m thinking:
  1. Flat BB Bench–Six sets to failure, starting with 225 and moving up to 295.
  2. Cable Flys–Five sets of 15 at increasing weights.
  3. Incline DBs–I really suck at these because of the instability caused by my left shoulder, but will try to do five sets of 15 with 70s.
  4. DB Pullovers–Love these. Five sets of 7-10 with 95lb. DB.
  5. Dips–Five sets to failure, first and last with no weight, middle sets with 20-35 lbs.
  6. Wide Grip Curls–Five sets of 8-10 with 75-85 lbs. I do these with emphasis on using the chest, so less of a bicep workout than, say, preacher curls or close grips. Really seems to finish my chest nicely.

Looks like a lot of good chest stuff. If your struggling with chest do a little less weight and do pauses on everything. The extra resistance might shock your muscles a bit. When I started doing that I started getting burn again. Been months since I’ve had my muscles burn.

Since this is now a log, and I’ve already subjected you to one pic, I suppose I’ll “treat” you guys to progress pics and update things. Today, I weighed in at 221.4 lbs, down from 234.8 in January. Here is a pic after yesterday’s chest workout. Some progress managing incline DBs.

Obviously, have some room to run here, and still need to lose some bellyfat.

So I took the weekend off and had so many cheat meals, I disgusted myself. So yesterday, I got a hard chest workout in AND afterward ran 1.5 miles outside (very slowly, I must say). Feeling a little better today, and given the weather (sunny and 65-70), I think I will follow my leg workout with another run. One thing I noted: My principal limitation when running was my wind, not my legs. They felt strong and powered up the hills no problemo. But I almost puked I was breathing so damn hard. Hopefully it will be incrementally better today.

I’ll do a treadmill or a stairmaster from time to time if I absolutely have to, but running outside has always been my primary mode of staying in aerobic condition. I’ve always wanted to start swimming, and I have an olympic pool in a rec center right next to my apartment, but it’s been closed for over a year now because of the pandemic. When it reopens, I will flop around in the pool a bit for conditioning as well.
