We went to the steakhouse last night. My carbs would have been under a 100 if not. I just planned for it.

I have to be cautious because one treat leads to 2 a week then 3 then I’m out of control. Hahaha
 
Overhead press day

Started at 45lb bar plus 2 micro mini bands. Maybe 30 extra pounds at top. Explosive positive overhead movement

3 reps for 3 sets

65lbs 3 reps for 2 sets

85lbs 3 reps

105lbs 3 reps

Lose the bands and 1 or 2 reps shy of failure at each weight, one giant strip set down to bar.

Rest is ancillary fluff n buff
 
You inspired me to hit the treadmill today. I ran 1.6 miles at a ridiculously slow pace and thought it was going to kill me. But toward the end, I did find my groove, and my legs definitely had all the pep I needed. Just my wind was not there to back up the legs! Of course, I walked around the rest of the day like I was about to tip over–a characteristic amplified by donating blood again today. Whew!
 
Well, it’s a start on the road to recovery of my endurance. I used to run 10k in 54 minutes, and that’s really what I’d like to get back to, but I suspect my body is WAY too different now to pull that off. I think I was 205 when I ran 10ks! 25lbs heavier now!
 
Before I had my hip resurfacing, my hip problems kept me from any serious running for about five years. Hip is great now, but five years without serious running takes one out of the game. I’ll be happy if I can just run three miles in 30 minutes after a month or so of doing it consistently.
