Tack's gotta lose some fat, training log

Another strangly timed coincidence happen. The motorcycle shop I brought my tires to, the owner offered me a job without me even asking, or talking about anything. He needs an inventory/computer guy.

He just asked if I was good with computers, and mentioned his son is becoming an officer, and needs to replace him. This is after spending the weekend running my finances to prepare for a paycut, and finally commiting to the idea of losing money. Lastly, it’s a small 4 man family business, the best kinds of businesses imo.

Just an update where I stand.

Even out of not tracking my diet, I’ve been sticking to my recipe book, prepped meals, and avoiding specific foods with high fat/oil content. Primarily avoid cheeses, butter, cream, but milk is still okay to fill some cravings here and there. I swear milk is starting to taste like ice cream when you avoid raw sugars and fats. Admittedly though I had one cheat day, a fast food double cheese burger. Omfg that was delicious but my stomach hated me the next day.

I’ve also been doing a shitload of lawn care with all the sun showers, gotta train my lawn like I gotta train myself, and mow that thing short every 2-3 days. I have the motorcycle which I’ve taken apart the suspension to rebuild. Yeah I’m familiar with how much 900lb is, but on a top heavy bike, it’s a whole different kind of lifting lol. I do have an engine hoist which kinda makes things look hilarious.

But anyway, good news, since a lot of my activity has been more cardio related, plus the habitual diet, I’m sitting at 180lb and that’s after breakfast. I’m honestly not sure how much would be muscle loss or fat loss. But I don’t feel like it’s muscle loss. My skin still feels fairly tight. So I still got plenty of room to work with.

The new job, is 6am-2pm, m-f, best schedule ever imo, I want to get back to a routine of training with this schedule. I am currently playing a balancing act of working two jobs next week. I will have a game plan more focused on leaning and moderate strength training, cause motorcycles. I’m weighing on not taking up MMA again, cause of the frequent impacts it would have on my gut, which probably wouldn’t be best for my recent situation.

Anyway, things ain’t over, just stepping into a new chapter.

I thought I’d drop a line here of what’s been going on. I’ve been working a lot. There is a backlog of about 2 months of work, it’s like that at all the shops around here. The owner is a very knowledgeable person. Its only the first week, can’t really say what the long term looks like, but I’m liking the job. Its really just been the owner and I running everything. These kinds of jobs, don’t come around often, and I want to make a good impression.

This weekend I will be come up with a schedule to get back on track with my training, that includes my work life. More updates coming soon.

174lb Yeah, I just can’t seem to get consistent logging. I am watching my diet, prep meals, and I’ve started helping my boss with his diet, as he wants to get back into dirt biking.

Sucks I can’t quantify my work very well, but I spend a lot of my time pushing around atv’s and 4 wheelers. A number of them can’t be started. Opening/closing garage doors, lifting stuff. Climbing on lifts. It looks like it’s paying off well.

Miss talking with you guys, hopefully come fall things will slow down a bit.

Oh I feel lean and mean. Since working at this shop, I’ve been able to climb things like I used too as a kid. When things slow down I’m looking forward to getting serious into training/bulking

I hink of it this way the more you can lift and the kore people know what you can lift the more they ask you to lift things for them. I have to tell people at work all the time I’m sorry but we get paid the same so you probably have to do what is part of the description. Just cue I can lift a lot does t mean I’ll be shift bitch. Unless they give me extra compensation for doing other peoples jobs
