Gonna check that out. Just got it dialed in at 50 yards he’s hitting the bullseye. That fucker is hard to crank though. I wonder if they are all like that

I’m not sure either,I’ve never owned one where you have to crank, just pull the string/cocker back.

I watched YouTube video of a guy cranking it on a tripod and it looked easy. I gotta hold the thing on the ground and it’s like doing bend over single arm rows with a 40 pound dumbbell. I called cabelas they told me to bring it in tomorrow

Getting ready to go hunt. Joe has decided on a buffalo over a stag. All the big stags have dropped their antlers. What a beautiful mountain morning. It’s a light rain here and it smells so good.

Today Joe and I and the owner of this place went arrow head hunting. This is the land of my ancestors. The Cherokee. He took us up so very old dilapidated mountain road that he couldn’t go more then three mph on. When we got to the top it was a huge field that had just been plowed for the first time in fifty years. That’s where we found most arrowheads and scrapers. And a couple spear heads.

If you’re ever in Cherokee NC…they have an excellent museum…not chincy at all but top shelf. All about the Cherokee Nation with many artifacts. We’ve been there several times.
