Buddy, we all are. It’s SUPER easy for me to make big changes in my lifestyle based on how I live (job etc) but for most it’s not.
Keep making forward progress. It’s about sustainable changes. If diet and making sure you get steps is sustainable, then fucking crush those changes. Until they become habit. Then make more changes. You didn’t add the weight over night. You won’t lose it over night either.
Good things take time.
