I woke up this morning, and it was one of those days, where I woke up, truly happy to be alive, and while words are easy to say,I am goin forward from this point on, and will let my actions and how I treat people show my gratitude. Not long ago someone on here was talking about volunteering time for something can’t remember who or what exactly but it got me thinking about how I USE to volunteer on a horse farm that twice a week groups of kids with autism would come and we would show them to to tack the horses up, groom them and then ride trails, and I am now gonna start doing that again.

Those kids are gods special creatures and I truly believe folks will be judged on how they treat them.

Glad you woke up having a good feeling.

I believe you’re a protector…sheep dog mentality… don’t like anyone messing with your flock…except you have a lot of it. Plenty to spread around. You are capable of protecting a large flock.

For sure, every day alive and healthy is truly a blessing. I am excited for you, John. Any program that works with children and animals are something very special. Keep pushing forward and keep us posted on how well it’s going with the volunteer time.

Man I love this thread. I didn’t start feeling happy about my life until I stopped worrying about myself and started thinking about other people. To be of service is the greatest satisfaction. Even if it’s not always fun at the time. Thanks for the post John.

Yes @Trollus every so often I make gratitude posts on here,I tend to take things for granted, like, food, roof over my head, a loyal and hard working wife, all that type of stuff.

Also I am extremely thankful for this forum, the amount of knowledge I’ve acquired here is amazing, the way this place is ran and how things are handled, doesn’t get any better, and the camaraderie with the people here remind me of the military and it keeps me coming back everyday.

Yup Y’all good balls are like brothers and Murph is like dad got the crazy cousin dirt in the corner old uncle poppy haha.
Good times my nephew is autistic I look at what the parents did to raise him and can’t help but wonder if that plays a role in it he has had an electronic in his face since he was three months old they let it be the parent so they didn’t have to deal I don’t know if it is even related but he is super smart as can be but gets picked on has zero friends and can’t handle a lot going on or loud noises I have taught right or wrong my son to not let people pic on him my son is only 4 and my nephew is 7 but that’s how bad it is I tell my son to not let people prey on the less fortunate and to never start anything but always always finish it
