I have been fighting a sinus infection for the past four months, and man, the impact on my sleep patterns has been horrendous. Most nights, I wake up three or four times at least coughing and choking on snot. Been through three antibiotics that did nothing (other than screw up my liver enzymes). Definitely affected my progress during my blast and is still a nightly issue. Like @johnjuanb1, I’ve been using NyQuil BUT now that my liver enzymes are screwed up, I can’t take Tylenol anymore, which is in NyQuil. So I’ve been using BreathRights and taking Xanax on particularly bad nights with some degree of success. But it is REALLY getting old.
Nope. Clearly viral, not bacterial, so the antibiotics served no purpose whatsoever. I’m getting scanned next week to see WTF is going on. My dad had this kind of problem pretty regularly, so it may be genetic.
I used to get a sinus infection every year and they never went away on their own. I used to fight it for months. The only thing that got rid of it for me was Z-PACK. I keep Z-PACK on hand now. Doctors always want to give you weak antibiotics that don’t work well. Z-PACK kills everything.
My liver values are the best they’ve been in many years. I think my liver has adapted to the abuse of AAS and everything else thankfully.
I haven’t slept through the night since I was turned 40. I toss and turn all night and I get up to pee around 4-5 times. I don’t think I ever get REM sleep. I take a lot of nootropics to function during the day, otherwise I would keep falling asleep.
Surprisingl, I look very young for my age but that’s genetic mostly.
I hope the doctors can help fix your sinus infection soon. It’s no fun at all to feel like shit all the time.
