Day 18. Rest

AGAINST THE GRAIN...
I’m scheduled to work till 4 tonight and with back tomorrow was likely rest day anyways hard to do back with a bad back. Luckily somebody took my weekend shifts but I may tell my coworker I’ll take sat off and let him have Sunday off

I'm crossed between back and legs.... Chest has been on the back burner too. I'm going to have to double up over the weekend or something.
 
Do you not have like a set structure to your training.
I do. But with the gym closed those extras days it threw it off. If I do arms I don't do chest or back the next day. I'll do shoulders or legs. Try and give those muscles a break. I also break schedule depending on how I feel. Nothing is set in stone really I guess

I think you would really benefit from getting a free program online or maybe do what tg with the ai generated program. I see you are using bro split format. auto regulation is a really good tool but I think with a right program recovery should be there every week to hit the muscles on set time frame

Day 20 Chest/Calves

So the emphasis today was lighter weights and putting the reps at 15 as opposed to 10.


Chest

Two warm up sets incline bench

Incline bench X4
Incline dumbbells X4
Machine bench X4
Flat bench barbell X4
Cable flies X4

Calves
2 warm up set Smith machine calf raises
Smith machine calf raises X4
Leg press X4
Vertical leg press toes inward X4
Vertical leg press toes facing straight X2

The reason for lightning the load is for preference my tendons are fine my ligaments are fine. I wanted to keep that mind to muscle connection. Feel the fibers the pump better. And honestly lifting heavy for 3 weeks straight and dropping back to my normal standard weight felt really good. I will keep my upper body movements like this for a few weeks and keep my legs heavy at 10 reps. Leaving now to go have my fourth meal just walking the track putting in my log. I honestly can still feel my hamstrings from last week and they better get ready for some more tomorrow. Going to see if I can sneak in some shirtless pics real quick for side chest....

The walking track picks sucked so I just headed to the bathroom.... Here.... I also have a diamond like indent in the center of my chest looks weird but cool ...upper center of my chest

UPDATE:. SO I've never had this before. Obviously hair hides it. Basically a 4 sided box/diamond right under my collar tat. I mean yeah I've seen other people have it but not myself...

Earlier in this log I said something about wanting a take naps and my thoughts were because of lifting heavier. I also have to remember and note that I quit smoking weed 3 weeks ago and the sleep is not exactly the same. With that, I've been up for almost an hour now pretending I'm going to go to sleep so I'm going to go make a protein shake. And try rest some more. I figured this would happen and I already have my oatmeal Soaking up in milk. Going to go add the other ingredients..,.. I mean I am bulking..

Don’t go back to weed. It’s not actually helping you recover. Much like alcohol, helps you sleep but fucks up sleep quality.
 
Also I assume you’ve increased doses. Which will affect sleep. If your estrogen is unbalanced, it will affect sleep. If your gut is not in check, it will affect sleep.

Even small differences in doses will fuck my sleep. 1gm of test. Awful sleep. 850 of test. Sleep like a baby.
