Bodybuilding Against The Grain

Day 10 legs

I warmed up for about 5 minutes corporating lightweight leg extensions and seated leg curls.

Leg press X8
Squats x5
RDL x 4
Super set leg extensions and leg curls x4

So I went heavy but not as heavy as I would like to. I'm okay with that I mean it's only day 10. I listened to my body and figured what I had was enough weight Wise. As you can see I did throw some RDLs in. Arm Pain subsided enough so I threw some in. Think my brain was focused more on the leg pain than arm pain by then😉. I really need to bring a paper and pen in with me. I keep forgetting. and I could be miscounting a set . Good day today

Day 11 back

2 sets warm ups close grip cable Rows

Close grip cable Rows X4
Lat pull down x4
Single arm dumbbell rows X3 each
Bent over Rows x4
Single arm cable Rows x4
Db shrugs x5

Fucked up day loosing hours. Strength was there, mentally not completely. 70s on db rows felt good like last week. Moving up is not necessary yet. All my sets are at 10. Nothing really passed that. Keeping the weight heavy enough where, ya, good luck. Tomorrow I'll hit shoulders. Friday chest. Than probably legs and then arms. Changed the routine a lil because I'm helping a guy get back into it. He will be with me Monday Wednesday Friday. He's trying to loose weight. I have already help him lose 20 with just diet alone.he knows nothing about peds or that I use peds. Nor is that conversation necessary. All in all depressing day today. Lack of hours fucks with my run.... And honestly that's all I care about right now.

Chest Calves

Two warm-up sets incline bench barbell
Incline bench barbell X4
Incline bench dumbbells X4
Flat bench barbell X4
Machine flies X2
Cable flies X3
High Pulley bent over cable flies X2

Calves

To warm up sets leg press
Leg press X4
Single leg X2 each
Smith machine X4
Horizontal leg press toes inward X3
Horizontal leg press regular x1

The dude that was going to go with me today did not come. Reason being is because I went early but I did give him a heads up and he said ride out. No work yesterday no work today. So I opted to go in earlier than I used to so I can enjoy this lovely weather and go hiking again I which I also did yesterday. Mild hiking nothing strenuous just enough to get the heart rate up and take in the Sun. The fact that my state is 90% forestry makes it all the more better yeah I'm bragging get over it.

Well I was about to say he’s already missing not a good sign but if you went at different agreed an upon time I get it.

He has impressed me with his commitment to his diet so far hince the 20 lb loss. Occasionally sends me pictures of what he's eating. He tried starving himself. I told him to cut that shit out. But you ain't lying far as bad signs. See them all the time in the gym. The worst sign I've seen us somebody really overweight on the horizontal leg press watching the food channel on YouTube....... Never saw big girl again...

Day 14 rest

Next in line was shoulders and arms. But I'm not pushing the legs back like that. Will do legs tomorrow and carry on. These days off were forced with the gym being closed ,pushing me back a little. I find myself wanting to take naps more since I started lifting heavy . I'm not one to take naps. It's nice I guess.
 
Day 15 Legs

3 warm-ups super setting leg extensions and seated leg curls.

Leg press X4
Walking lunges X4
Squats X3
Attempted deadlifts twice .failed .discomfort in my lower left back definitely feel more like nerves than muscular
Seated leg curls X4
Leg extensions x4

Being jobless I was definitely not all here today. MENTALLY
I did come in stronger adding 50 to the press and 20 to the squat. Working sets on the seated leg curls felt really good. kind of wonder if I should have done seven sets on that. Not trying to take the fun of the competition with my jobless remarks just being real.... Letting you know where my focus was at today. I'm not down and out. The goal remains the same... And that's to win.... Time to eat....
