My current situation and plan

I guess to put things in reference to when I was young. 220 pound Airborne 12B who lived in the gym or a service school when young. I carry muscle and have good bone structure. With a good diet, higher T and I am looking to regain my old beast mode from 1993 when I was crazy strong. A little science and help here and I should be well on my way by end of Oct.
 
It’s Saturday 4am here and I have started my water fasting for 1-4 days. Jump start myself into ketosis. I rested yesterday from working out and begin again tonight. I have increase my water consumption to 1 gallon while just doing desk work. I’m having water retention issues and hopefully I will release some from drinking more and a short fast.

Small update on my keto reset. Pushing 30 hrs soon on my water only reset. Feeling good so far and excess water is beginning to drop off. I have ketosis strips to know when I am ready to switch over to my low carb again. Last year I did this and I was able to maintain less water retention control my blood pressure.

Workouts are still decent and I don’t expect any change until over 48hrs. Hopefully I’m in ketosis soon and bypass those issues.

Waiting some items from flash if all goes well I will be able to order my backup test soon. I have never ran a keto diet on test so it will be different.
 
Going well and have my carbs dialed down to 50g or below. Trying to get my protein up to 200g so it’s a delicate balance. I don’t worry about cals because if I balance everything right they are fine.
 
That’s good man that keto diet is badass, my step mom’s been on it for a year and her complexion is phenomenal, and she’s lost a ton of BF
 
Ok far I’m doing well getting back on Keto and am down 3pounds. BP is improving and I will hopefully be ready to get back on my Test treatment. Some of my items from flash have arrived and I will need to order some more. I’m doing smaller orders until I have confidence everything will arrive. It’s harder to get BTC these days for orders.
 
The last 7 days have gone well. My power in the gym is up and I started showing ketosis coming back on. Down about 3 pounds mostly water so that really helps the BP. Waiting on some gear and hope to have the last few items ordered this week.

I’m a big fan of the Keto diet and I lost 30 pounds since last year. I upped my carbs some earlier this year with hopes to get beyond some barriers in the gym.

Now I have never ran Keto while on any gear and have no idea how that will go.

Keto on any AAS will aid in preserving all muscle! Very exciting to see how that will help your program!
 
This week is over and even on Keto my weight is stable. I’m maintaining muscle more and do have a supplement I’m using while I wait on packages. My next order will be soon so I’m almost set. Most of my pre covid strength and power has returned. I’m still battling water retention and BP issues
 
On another note, I am currently on Winstrol (2 weeks) while I get everything set up and have noticed an interesting side effect while on the Keto diet. My ability to get into ketosis is much easier and my ability to stay in ketosis even longer allows me to add a few extra carbs without any impact. So I suspect by combining the test and keto diet to amplify my results and burn fat much faster than without it. It’s a measurable impact by about 1/4 of an inch off my waistline. Has anyone else noticed this effect? @Bigmurph @Optumpharma @Rusty
 
I don’t take winny. My joints are too banged up already. Honestly I tried minimizing carbs and maximizing protein while on my current cycle but I would wake up craving carbs to the point I couldn’t fall asleep unless I ate a bowl of cereal. I have reintroduced good carbs on a sensible scale and yes it hasn’t made a negative difference. I am still gaining strength and loosing fat. I am back up to 245 again. Only lost three pounds at one point. But my weight is the same. I feel like I am gaining a pound of muscle for every pound of fat I loose so I don’t see it on the scale. I am spending more time in the gym then I have ever in my life so I am sure there is something to that as well. Keep up the good work bro!!
 
I don’t seem to have any issues except with my shoulder joints but they had issues before I started. Some of my new gear arrive so I may wind off of it soon. What I like about it is having the extra endurance on cardio and running massive core (crunches, sit-ups) and much more. When I’m off of it I normally retain all gains in power and endurance. So 6 more weeks and I should just be on my test E and that will really boost my power and lower my BF.

This week I started my TRT 0.37cc due to syringe size. I will take another one tonight. So far no water retention and BP is good. The Winny has helped keep my muscle while I get my TRT dialed in. It has been very helpful and really helps keep my body in ketosis and a few extra carbs.

I was is serious ketosis last night and I was crazy hungry. So I made a mistake and had pasta. Test showed only a trace but I’m reducing carbs to compensate.

Workouts are still solid 4-5 days in the gym and I’m now running after work in the early morning before I goto sleep (I work nights) and my sleep improved today.

No change on weight up 1 pound but I fluctuate by 5 pounds all week.
 
So I am a newbie, but am at 40, I have three kids and am cool with having my hpta not work optimally.

Hence I made the decision to cut clomid, hcg, and keep ai on hand and do my own trt. At first used doctor but he only looked at numbers and not how I felt, on 250 of test cyp drove me to no sleep for two days, then in the tank, I have loved switching to prop and doing daily shots, I sleep great and can Cali we it to how I feel, granted I use other aas.

That aside. I had to ask myself why am I spending money on keeping myself fertile when that part of my life is done. Now I want to look like hulk and feel like fire is pouring out my pores.

Just my opinion.
 
The only reason I have for considering HCG is to keep my body running at optimal levels. I am 50 and my kids are grown so I fully understand the fertility issue. Since I was on TRT while over seas for years I ran into issues once I returned. I used some clomid to help me from crashing any worse then I knew would happen. It’s been tough but I survived.
