Right now I have a 18 month plan. I was 341 in 2013. Lost 100 pounds over 9 months then over the next 10 years got back to 316 in January 2023. Decided I'll do it slower and correct meaning permanent diet changes which was mainly keto and ditching bread.
As I mentioned i had some shoulder issues. 2014 had a right shoulder replacement due to arthritis. Shoulder of a 70 year old I was told. 2023 left shoulder now replaced and shortly after PT I got over anxious and pulled the subscap off the bone. Anchors and all. Had the subscap repaired October 2024. Last month still had pain and asked the ortho what are we going to do as he agreed I should have been pain free from that operation. I saw a TikTok video and asked him to give me a cortisone shot for bicep tendinitis. 1st time I've been pain free in both shoulders in over a decade. Before that recent shot I trained legs pretty good. 1k leg presses for reps and rack leg extensions. Well, I rolled preexisting herniated disks after months of that. This was April. Got a cortisone shot on May 1 and went pain free until June 28th and while putting on gym shorts I moved something in the back that broke through the cortisone shot. Turns out a small bone fragment pushed down on an already impacted femoral nerve in my L2/L3. The pain in my interior quad and kneecap were off the charts. Tried another cortisone shot on 07/15 to hold me over but once the local wore off I was in the ER for pain management. Next night at 10:30 pm decompression surgery.
Body wise I simply feel good right now.
So, I did start TRT in February after meeting with a GP for a year that a 300 total T level is acceptable at my age. Fuk him, went to a clinic. Wasted a year. Learned from the clinic about sides, supplies and so on. $305 a month and did that until I hurt my back. They were good to me so the back issue was a great way to tell them I wasn't coming back any time soon. I also expected to just go a year until I got comfortable with pinning my own Testosterone anyway so it worked out.
Started peptides after meeting with a longevity coach in May. No gear or peptides before that just the TRT in February. Got my dexa scan and he mentioned some peptides. Went down that rabbit hole hoping for ortho relief using Wolverine stack. Didn't do much as l I had bigger issue in play than a peptide could help with.
Still heavy but now 200 pounds. I haven't been under 200 pounds since i was 16. Sounds like a lot of weight and most gear forums I'd already be called a fat ass and to get more lean before gear. I get the sentiment. But I've always believed you can recomp if your stacks are done correctly. Nothing wrong IMO to lose BF and gain muscle at the same time. Saying to get skinny fat prior to gear just doesn't always make sense. I'm also aware that the heavier you are will magnify the side effects of gear. Like aromatising more on Testosterone the heavier you are. I belive you can balance it all.
So, I have most of what I'll need. August 18th I was ok'd to start working again. So it was then I started up the gym much harder than previous years. However, I leave for vacation next week so I had about 6 weeks to stay busy and not start a true cycle after restarting the gym. Needed a short run of something.
I took my trt dose from 140mg week split M/TH to 300mg a week. I also added 50mg of what I felt was daily Anavar and 50mg of Proviron. This was also supplemented with fasted morning pins of Tesamorelin/Hexarelin and evening fasted pin of cjc1295/Ipamorelin. I lift 5am during workweek. Got labs at week 3 to see what the 300mg test took my E2. Was OK with the results and wasn't feeling any sides really. Took Testosterone to 500mg a week with labs scheduled for next wendesday just for estradiol. However, I started to blow up water wise, acne and mood swings. It was also mentioned on a forum that I bought the anavar from that many were testing theirs as dbol. I felt that better explained my sides and stopped last Friday. Already feel leaner and less bloated. Didn't want to just run the test so I introduced 4iu GH fasted morning this past Monday with 30mcg of Igf1-lr3 post workout subq. Will only run Igf1-lr3 4 weeks at a time and monitor igf labs. They checked out ok at 51 years old. Actually my igf levels floored me as I expected them to be in the toilet based on all my other bullshit but they weren't so not going to push those 2 compounds much.
When I get back from vacation on 10/02 it'll be a TRT cruise again at maybe 200/250mg along with the 4iu of GH. Was going to do that all of October. Come November I was going to start 500mg test, 400mg primo, 4iu morning gh, 50mg daily anavar and 50mg daily proviron. Labs at 6 weeks and adjust test/primo as needed to balance out E2 if a concern. Will end anavar after week 8. I flipped it to start the cycle. End this after 12 weeks. Ideally I'm closer to 180/185 if all goes to plan. Take 2 months off and go back down to TRT levels. This takes me to April. If I was successful in that 1st real cycle I'd like to run Testosterone high again, introduce EQ and maybe offset the appetite with 4 weeks of Tren Ace at 100mg/week. Understand the dangers of tren and why I'd only use the short ester and pull it out of the mix if necessary. However you can't deny the muscle it builds and fuk, I really want a year that I look great.
Anyway, that's the layout. Flame away. Anything constructive I'm open 2. Like most of you getting the compounds and spending the cash not the biggest issue. It's balancing the benefits of compounds without causing irreparable harm to my body.
