I prefer a different approach for legs. I like high reps for quads , Lo reps for hams. Something to do with muscle fibers. Now when I say high reps I don’t mean light weight done 100x. Sets of 10/15 amd occasionally 20 for legs. Drop sets etc. when I was a competitor I of course trained heavy but my favorite for squats was. 315x20 , 365x15 amd 405 for 10 reps. Before my last Comp when I was 25 I squatted 225 42 times unbroken. Hams I let to 6,8 or 10 reps
