I hit the wall today. Body feels strong, just can’t find the gas pedal.

I have known and been fighting it for bit meow. Since I had still been making progress, it was easy to be In the just push through it mentality.

Time to take some proper rest/ and Deload this week.

I always feel like I’m lazy, so it’s hard to accept “Less is more mentality”

Personally I’ve had success with still training just very limited pump some fluids everywhere and walk away…literally 10 minutes.

Shoulders are really starting pop these days

It’s the Samsung AI delete function… itS pretty crazy technology when you think about it… it works really well with uniform backgrounds.

The future is now.

Hiked a mountain with my kiddos yesterday,
And did duck all today, by the time I was ready to goto the gym I walked in and told me they closed In 15 mins. All my personal gym equipment is else where for another week or so… so it is what it is.

Needed the rest anyway.

Full body the rest of the week for deload purposes

Oh well happy new year!

Mainly accessories work , just to keep blood flowing, and also 3-4 movements tops.

Quads/shoulders/back

/hams/chest/arms

Calf’s/abs/posterior.

Something along these. It will be similar to what I did last year after the first shutdown, and gyms re opened

Low weight moderate volume, work on that mind muscle connection.

Maybe you should just try taking a whole week off of any kind of exercise. I get huge gains doing that. At least with strength. Every eight weeks I take whole week off. Only exception is now cause it’s a 20 week transformation and I tell you what I am spent HARD!!! Have two weeks left then done. Can’t wait. I mean don’t get me wrong it has been an amazing journey with my mental strength. Been challenged harder then ever before.

Well it’s not the worst idea, I didn’t have any in between regular workouts then to my on cycle.
So I have been going hard for much longer.

Tell you the truth though I would be too afraid to take a week off. Even this 2 days in a row has me out of sorts. I will go
For the sake of routine, I ain’t going in there to drop set/ and chase the dragon though.

Day 1 deload

Front squat
Ohp
Pull up
Rear delt

3 sets of all, 10 reps all sets. (except pull ups)

In and out time like 33 mins. Sweater didn’t even come off… happy with that.

Happy Canadian thanks giving!

Gotta do a good deload and you’ll
Come back stronger then you were before deload. No joke.

I been training now almost 20 weeks way past due for deload

My deload week consists of more cheat days and fishing for a week. No weights. I usually come back with PRs

If your maxing or close to maxing on deload that’s not deload. I say this cause I suck at deloads. They are really good tools to help with form issues. But if I start doing regualr lifts I just get back to grinding so what I do is just find fun lifts that hit the muscles that compounds target and just do pumps work or other. Today I’m going to just mess around with power cleans so I’m lower weight instead of dead’s

Yeah, I suck at them too, hence why I maxed bench.

Ultimately though I have had a successful Deload week, I cut my volume and intensity down an awful lot, my body appreciates it.

I am going to rest today, and get back to the grind tomorrow.

When i do normal compound movements I always feel fresh on deload. It maybe mindset so I end up doing same thing in fact 405 felt so easy on squats I had to remind self I’m maxing Monday just stick to program
