My log. As of 3-19-2021 Xpliot

Just felt like my body needed a break from dieting for a bit and to enjoy this month with the 4th of July and my bday coming up at the end of the month. Then I’ll try to cut back down. I just felt like I was starving all the time really bad. It wasn’t like it was before when I was losing weight

Absolutely you can still build muscle doing higher reps.

And I think a Maintnence phase of the diet is a good idea. As you drop weight your metabolism changes with it. A Maintnence phase is a good option for giving your body a rest. Check out RP’s getting exotically lean video by Dr. Mike.

Happy bday and yeah you will continue to grow maybe faster with higher reps also less injuries.
Im curious why your shoulders are bothering you I reccomend getting a bell sleeve or slingshot.

There’s science behind what @NeuroRN says.

On another subject, alot of powerlifters train with submaximal weights and concentrate on speed.

You don’t always have to use heavy weights. You’re body will thank you sooner and later.

Man idk why they started hurting the last few weeks. Idk if I was just doing to much along with work or I was doing an exercise wrong maybe. I know I can t lift heavy at all and I can’t even get my left arm up on the bar to do squats and I def feel like my bicep peak got pointy as hell from doing higher reps

I can remember clearly when I decided to change. I was training for any strength related events… I belt squatted 675 for reps… and my knees hurt for days after and it just clicked… why on earth do I need to do that anymore? So thankful I switched. It fit my goals much better to lower the weights and increase the reps.

Just muscle strain! Over using it. So I found other exercise to do and found some other ones to help strengthen my shoulders. Won’t be doing in presses for shoulder or chest for a few weeks. Sorry I totally forgot to let you guys know! Hahah been super busy. Thank you for asking tho @Poppy! You’re a good man! :muscle:t3:

Yeah it’s been two weeks and they already feel better and second week I stopped being stubborn and tried doing exercises and still got a good lift in!
