Monday Memorial Day off.

Got up and squatted right off. It usually takes a bit to get the ole joints to stop squeaking and loosen up but felt real good today.

Belt squats with atg 3 count down…1 count hold…straight up to 95% lockout with 0 at top…4 sets of 12 with 4 plates 5th set to technical failure strip a plate…failure…strip a plate failure. Calves abs.

Pics are almost 30 days apart. Sweatfest blue shorts are 30 days ago…making a little progress…I think.

Todays BP. Running a tad hot. Combination cuff and wrist L and R. Lost one somewhere.

Close grip press. 135 x bunch…added red bands x some. 3 reps add 20 lbs for 3 rounds. 3 reps strip 20lbs only rest was stripping weight. Down to 135 x 16.

Shoulders tris abs.

Just read this in one of the Harvard Medical School papers.

Bought the belt and the bolt/qd pin to hold it to the rack. Everything else came out of my pile-o-crap
 
It works perfectly.

I personally love the spud adjustable belt. Not stiff to tear you up.

I had the barbell ends from a cheapo broke bar. Regular ole pipe will work just fine. That’s what I was going to use until I ran across those amongst my treasures.
