@Rusty i know you’ve mentioned want to hit 400 on bench have we talked about Jm presses in here. God I love these things. Wooo get since I started them I fee my lockout getting h easier on bench which was always sticking point for me. I can throw shit off my chest with ease
Bench. 135 four half presses one full six times for a total
Of 30 reps. Two sets like this. Then dips to fail three times. Reverse curls 25x15 then 25x20 alternating then skull crunchers 50x30 thats one set. I do it twice. On strength days I do 5 reps 230 bench Then 5x5 dumbbells presses finish at 110s.
I do a bunch of machine stuff but have those maxed out. Says weight is 290 but I don’t believe it. Hard to tell with machines.
Shoulder is doing really well but stupid tendinitis in elbow is screwing me with too much weight. I never did 400 in my life. But i never really maxes much. I use to finish pyramid bench sets with top two being 300x8. Hoping on gear can reach over 400 someday soon. Being this year sometime.

Take a break from them you will never reach your goal if your injury is bothering you sometimes less is more do some close grip bench heavy By close I don’t mean hands touching don’t go all the way down just down far enough to keep triceps’s activated there is a mountain dog video that he does. Triceps exercises in a certain order to warm up and I have been using it because I have same deal as you it works I have been able to go skull busters and I previously Couldnt do at all IT WORKS Where do you have the most trouble at on bench top bottom?
Slow your reps down a little and get a good idea of what’s hardest or where you get stuck at failure then we can focus on the weak part something else I’m going to recommend is you do 1 set of push ups each day to failure arms out where you bench not a bunch of sets just 1 to failure wether it be 2 or 50 and let me know
