Good morning. @Xpliot is a complete newbie to aas. He was once obese and lost 70 pounds naturally. He is contemplating running gear but his initial labs came back low t with some other markers.

I will be of no help. I’ve recently lost some fat and actually have some evidence of abs now. I too am stuck trying to lose a bit more around mid section but I’m playing around with stuff. Cardio and carbs…

Keep at it buddy make slight changes here and there to see what works.

Have you tried pushing a sled. Jump rope. HIIT… there’s several ways to shake your metabolism up.

49/40/20 for macros and yeah I weigh everything! Lol also I was losing two pounds a week since a started. I can’t remover what calories I started at. And I’ve never had a bulking or maintenance phase as I’ve been losing weight since July lol

I know Lol such is life tho! Things happen but I def won’t give up and I appreciate the support! It’s motivating!

Hopefully you can get on trt and I promise that will make you feel and perform so much better. Then maybe soon you can do your first cycle.

Man I honestly told people and my doctor last year I didn’t feel like myself anymore like I lost some drive in me and motivation and even told my doctor and they tried to say I was depressed but I wasn’t. it’s kinda relieving to know I was right and something was wrong.

My insurance does cover my test from a pharmacy. My urologist prescribed to me. He knows very little about it. All i get is t. No ancillaries no extra tests. I get my t checked about once a year in one of my 4-6 other labs.

Hopefully you will have a good experience especially if you’re at a specialist.

Agreed. My ins carrier(the sobs) made me go back for a 2nd lab before they would pay for my test. Then they were just pissy about everything. It’s settled down now.

Given you losing 70 lbs I think it’s likely due to your metabolism adjusting. Metabolic adaptation. You’ve been dieting for a while and your body is going to adjust. Good chance your focus would be to get your metabolism back up to snuff. That involves slowly increasing your calories to get your body used to more calories again.

Maybe @NeuroRN can chime in on this as well. He’s probably first I would ask if I had a situation like this

Man that would be awesome! I was honestly going to talk to this older guy I know that competes and see if he could help me too. Cause I’ve been working out with another guy that competes as well. I started paying him to train me and my workouts are even better then before and I’m learning more. I just want to keep learning the diet aspect and really fine tune my diet. Cause I swear I eat healthy I track everything as well so I’m just stuck

Sorry im uneducated lol

If your doctor writes you a prescription that says medically nessasarry on it your insurance will cover the test or anything else if it says medically nessasarry

I can’t even spell necessary today lol

Oh lol and I’m going to see a trt doctor not my regular doctor.cause when I got the other blood test at my regular doctor she said nothing was wrong and 291 is average for my test level. Which the trt doctor said hell No it should be at 650 and he’d like to have me at atleast 800

That’s definitely not a normal test level its actually under 300 which im under 300 and its not good so I feel you and if you were to get a prescription to see a specialist an endocrinologist your insurance should cover everything easier going to a trt clinic to get your insurance to pay is going to be hard.

Your doctor needs to take care of you if he or she isn’t get a new doctor because they suck and aren’t living up to there oath
