40 5’10 185. So pre covid I decided to get my ass in the gym ever for first time, and made solid gains just getting after it, at 38 I went from 155 to 198 lbs and a fair bit was muscle. Then covid really slowed down gym time.

Recently got a power rack and goodies, and been going hard again, just making up my strength I lost form the covid lull.

I have tons of questions in regards to enhancing my performance, and look forward to interacting with you fine knowledgeable fellows!

Have you got your macros planned out?

What are your training goals?

Have you ever been enhanced before?

Have you had a full blood panel recently?

Welcome, you’ve come to the right place, lots of knowledge floating around here.

Nope to macros, but eat clean, I’m pretty good at maintaining proper eating.

Goal is to recomp my current weight. Lose ten gain ten-15(So about 185 -190 15%) Lifting goals are more my thing.
I want the 5 plate dead, 4 plate squat, 3 bench, and bw ohp, I’m basically 4,3,2,1 right now. If I was a younger man I would just get after it naturally.

No enhancement experience.

Going to set up pre blood panels this week, I don’t want to enhance until I plateau on re gains from covid rest.

I just said this on another post… it’s hard to serve two masters.

Recomping and making strength gains is possible… just gotta be diligent.

I would suggest maybe starting counting macros for your recomp. A cycle of aas is always better when you’re as lean as you can get.

Honestly I’m pretty lean, for an average joe as I am. I look pretty good with cloths on 😂.

If I do enhance, I would bulk just to pack as much muscle as I can, also though that requires the discipline to do a proper cut at the end.

I have never had to cut weight in my life so I’m not even sure I can do it properly, if I’m being honest… I love lifting and hate eating, so I can modulate weight easy, just not maximize strength when I lose 🤷‍♂️ Oh well won’t know if I ain’t willing to try.

I will start macro counting now though to see if I have the gumption to do it. More info about my self the better . All I care about right now is total calories and protien 1g per
Lbs. never bother figuring out carbs and fat.

Arbs and fats are extremely important as I myself am learning as I go. I discovered the more carbs I eat the more strength I have in the gym, a lot more. and my muscles are bigger also. If I don’t eat enough carbs then my muscles will cannibalize for energy as I am lifting. Also depends on the type of carbs your body tolerates the best. Anything with wheat makes me tired for example.

Welcome BTW. Glad to have you in the community
