Feeling right ~ first cycle in 10 years

This will be a long read… I appreciate anyone who takes the time to answer.

Been on TRT exactly 3 months now. Made much better progress than I thought I would over that time. I’m 6’1” and have gone from a lean 163 to an even leaner 175. Some of that’s definitely water from the carb load/glycogen. I’m really happy with the gains I’ve made so far, but it’s definitely tapering off.

I’m 31 now and did my only two cycles when I was 21 and 22. Both consisted of test and anavar. Made good gains but tbh after how I’m feeling on my TRT dose I wonder if that gear was anywhere near legit…

Getting labs done on Tuesday. After working to clear up a couple issues I’m feeling great and think they should come back fine. As long as that’s the case - I have everything on hand and want to get going.

I have a pretty easy time eating right and hit my macro goals every day.

450 carbs - nearly all from oats, brown rice and quinoa

250-275 protein - mostly from chicken

100-120 fat - mostly from unsaturated sources like ghee, coconut oil and pumpkin seed oil

I meal prep a bunch and live onsite at my work so it’s pretty easy. Wife’s also a badass cook and super health conscious.

Typical day looks like this:

530 - First meal - overnight oats

630 lifting - finish around 8 with two scoops of protein factory whey isolate (this stuff is the bomb)

9:00 2.5 cups quinoa/brown rice, 8oz grilled chicken, tbsp ghee or pumpkin seed oil (I prep and bag the grilled chicken and 50/50 rice/quinoa about a week at a time)

12:00 repeat

3:00 repeat

6:00 dinner. Usually whatever my wife’s making but still always complex carbs, lean protein and something green.

9:00 either eat more dinner or more chick/rice but about half as much. Then around a cup of cottage cheese and a scoop or two of casein right before bed.

I really wanted to prove to myself that I could stick to this long before starting my cycle and Ive done it very consistently. Honestly I’m usually starving leading into each meal. Only cheat I do is a fat bowl of ice cream about once a week.

Only powders I do are whey isolate immediately post workout and casein before bed.

Coming into my cycle I plan on increasing the size of all my meals 10-15% and see how it goes.

Vitamins/supps:

Athletic Greens drink every morning - I love this shit.

Creatine HCL

GSH - just started this a few days ago. Doing 100mg subq 5x a week.

High quality fish oils

I’m planning on running for 16 weeks but will get bloodwork monthly throughout.

Planning on:

250mg test cyp e3d
150mg deca e3d
(Both from flash)
~considering~ adding in some anavar for the first 6 weeks because I love that pump.

I have a ton of caber and aromasin on hand, but I’ve never taken either. I know some will say run the cycle for a few weeks and use as necessary but what do you guys think would be a good “lowest end” protocol or starting point? The aromasin I got is 25mg tabs and the caber .5. I was thinking 12.5 eod on the aromasin and .25 maybe e3d. Also best spacing with or after my injections?

Also what about injectable GAC and products like that? I have about zero experience with them but it makes sense that it would be a solid addition.

What am I missing guys?? As far as goals obviously I want to build some good lean mass, but I’m also young and have a family and really don’t want to get into a bad health situation.

I’ll post more about my training when I have a chance. Also throw up some progress pics and long my diet/progress throughout.
 
Flash runs hot brother. They have quality products.

My opinion only: if I have to take something to counteract something else then I’m not going to take it or lower my dose to a sustainable dose and as “side free” as possible.

You might not need any of that stuff.
 
I have. I actually used Proviron during my previous cycles. I’ve definitely considered adding it but to be honest I just don’t want to increase the rate that my hair is falling out lol
 
I can’t help you with the GAC,or aromasin,I usually don’t even need a AI,and if I do I use adex,I’ve only used aromasin once and that was when I was using Trestolone.
 
I wouldn’t use caber or aromasin until you get some blood work back. No sense of taking it if you don’t need it.

Never used GAC but a few of us here use glutathione. Pubmed and even are own search engine have some good articles on it

Ok right on guys. Well I guess the question is then, if I start experiencing sides and or get bloodwork showing high estrogen or prolactin, what would be the most conservative starting point? 12.5 eod or could I start even lower? How about the caber?

Most boards I see show guys jumping right into 25mg aromasin every damn day and .5 caber twice a week which is obviously the high end. What would be the lowest dose that still makes sense?
 
My opinion, if you experience sides, get blood work. Take one dose to bring down whichever level is high… and then bring your doses down.

Crushing estrogen is a bad idea. The whole idea of keeping estrogen normal while test stays high is just bro science.

Be careful with caber. It’s a powerful drug. My goal is always to run doses that don’t require either. It’s not worth it in my opinion.
 
Leave the ai and caber alone. Run what you can without them.

This is the right way for a long and healthy life.

Your dosing is reasonable so unless you are an over responder you ought not even need it.

I would find your max set point with test before adding other androgens into the equation.

You seem to be responding well keep doing what you’re doing slow and steady my friend.

Little update guys…

Went ahead and started on the 1st so about 17 days in. Added some Flash Anavar in @ 50 per day too. I’ve been dosing tamoxifen @ 10mg a day to keep some preexisting gyno in check. Haven’t felt the need for the AI or caber at all yet.

Experienced a little bit of acne the first week but has since cleared almost completely. Been feeling a slightly bloated in my hands and face but not much, overall water weight doesn’t seem to be more than a few pounds.

I was weighing right at 185 (in the morning) when I started. Up from 163 over about 3 months. I guess I’ll attribute a lot of that to muscle memory. It was like every workout I would see that muscle group grow over the next day. Over the last few days I’m fluctuating between 188-193, again in the morning.

Feeling fucking great by the way. Overall mood is through the roof, and my dick hasn’t been this hard this often since I was 20. Wife can’t get enough 😆

From the Var I was getting great pumps in the gym from the first couple dosed but the last 3-4 days I feel like a monster in the gym.

I’ve definitely put on a lot more weight a lot faster than I thought I would. This test is barely starting to hit and I’m still at least a couple weeks from the deca. I was planning on running for 16 weeks but depending on where I am in a couple months I may cut the cycle short and work on maintaining for a year to help my heart out.
 
If your 17 days in the test and deca are already doing their thing that said I might be coming around on this car stuff
 
Everywhere I look bros say deca takes 4-6 weeks. I front loaded the test - doubled up my first day. Either way I’m seeing the scale move every day and adding weight every workout. Feeling good.

And var is badass. I tried to go 75mg but it was messing with my appetite.
