Stave off boredom and to maybe let some of the aches and pains clear up a little.

Losing a couple pounds would be a bonus.

Just one of my (many) hair brain ideas I’ve come up with.

Haha. Maybe it’s hair brained maybe not. It’s really good for conditioning and heart health. Keep that heart rate up for a prolonged period of time is never a bad idea. Unless you have existing heart issues of course. Like if my dad did tried that he would have the big one as Fred Sanford use to say.

I definitely have to find new motivations and routines to keep me going. But every now and then I pull out the “Goggins Card,” call myself a pussy, get pissed, and do precisely because its boring and I don’t want to do it. Sometimes, THAT is the motivation that works the best, viz., knowing you are killing it doing something that, at that moment, you REALLY don’t want to do!

I can imagine everyone’s take on that. When I am involved in those way too long meetings it is usually one guy who is trying to be smart or just likes to hear him/herself talk. I’ll start taking some obvious deep breaths here and there or start fidgeting and looking annoyed hoping they will get the picture. Lol. I’m gonna have to start trying your strategy 😂😂

Sanford and son was one of my favorites. I should see if I can find some old seasons on Netflix or something. About ten years ago when my kids were young I couldn’t find much for them to watch that wasn’t stupid so I remembered when I was their age I liked to watch Punky Brewster so I found a bunch old episodes and they loved it.

I also played the diabetes card when the meeting was way past its usefulness… imagine 20 engineers in a room trying to be smarter than each other…”blood sugar is crashing…gotta go or y’all will be calling the rescue squad…see ya”.

Hahaha. Can’t use that one. Well maybe. I’ll just take out a small syringe with glutathione in it and pretend it’s insulin.🤔 ya
Omg couldn’t imagine 20 engineers in one meeting. We usually have only two and that’s bad.

Basic back and bis today with tmill between all sets. It was set at 2.5 with a fan blowing on me from the front… felt just like running with the wind in my face. Hahaha

Bp immediately after training and lunch

Do you find bp can tend to stay up after training only with no food? Just curious cause I’ve never tested it after

I’m not sure buddy. Usually it’s lower than today without eating. I’ll try and remember tomorrow and check before eating.
