Todays training

Pwo black coffee and emergenC

Feel great but still clicked back to semi auto

Belt squat 3 plates x 12, 16, 16, 16 medium stance

Bright idea to squat 2 plates thru the song spill the wine… apparently it’s 5 minutes long or so. Quit at 56 reps.

Calves and abs

Todays training

I got the blasted cambered ladder bar backwards and was pressing almost Anthony Clark (reverse) style. Didn’t realize it until I had it loaded so I just continued on…

Widest grips with maximum camber (deficit). All reps were from deficit pins. Hand release every rep on pins in the hole in sets below.

125 bar weight x 5

Plus 40lbs chain x 3

Plus 80lbs chain x 3 x 4

Strip chains 18 reps

YTW’s face pulls tricep push downs x bunch

15 min walk with baby girl buzzing around me on her bike.

It’s been said that it will work your triceps more but I didn’t get that effect.

To me it ended up being different that’s all.

My hands wrists forearms and shoulders seemed to tolerate it better.

I’m going to tag in @JB_rD81.

@Poppy @JLee I’ve never attempted reverse grip, I had too many struggles with just bench to be attempting anything cool like that. It does put more emphasis on your triceps and less load on the shoulders, but it brings other aspects of difficulty into the game, a lot of strain on the wrists. I always liked seeing pictures of Anthony Clark doing reverse grip, it was just as awesome as pictures of Ed Coan deadlifting 900+ lbs

For the record. I’ve never attempted it either. Todays training session happened because I’m a chucklehead…. And too lazy to unload the bar and turn it around.
