Tack's gotta lose some fat, training log

You’re still young and at the top of your game brother.

Diet…some sort of fat burning activity and weight training.

Looks like you’re pretty detailed in your training/diet so it will all come to you. Make adjustments on the fly, monitor your weight training, listen to your body and you’ll be just fine.
 
Yeah, I was just working up the motivation to do some of the exercises I don’t like, and mentioning things don’t happen overnight was enough to get me moving again. Now I’m about to crash again before the work day starts.

That’s an intimidating list, I might pick that up another day. Personally, I can’t wait to get back into MMA for my cardio workouts. I’ve been practicing my movement, and punches at home. I’m on the lookout for a punching bag cause I want to throw some kicks again, and to have some feedback. I have a feeling cardio won’t be so bad when I get a punching bag.
 
There isn’t much to say with this log. The end of the week was hard to get any workouts done, just felt lazy, but I tried to do something at least. Some other things not mentioned in the log is all the lawn work, house work, and garage cleanup through the week, more than a usual week.

End of week stats, 194lb, 14.8% bf, 1497 calorie average, 7-74-18 macros

I’m not getting excited about the weight loss yet, I still don’t trust those scales bf meters.

All those honey-do’s count brother. You’re burning a lot of calories.

Best thing I found is my favorite shirt and jeans. I can tell the difference when things start moving around… losing my belly/back fat… lats/ shoulders/quads getting bigger…

I get on the scales just cuz they’re by the toilet…

Guys on here also suggested photographs… picture is worth a thousand words. @Dirtnasty @NeuroRN @Trollus come to mind right off with a great photo journal.
 
Oh more photos will come soon. And it looks like I’m camping at the grocery store for now. Power just cut out across the town while I shopping lol
 
No log for last week. Shame on me. It all started with a Starbucks cappuccino, two sugars, and a bacon breakfast sandwich. I wouldn’t doubt if I averaged 2600 calories a day through the week. Some days were light, others were not. Can’t really quantify though.

Working out? Well I’m generally active, not working out though. Shame.

Next note, spreadsheets are inefficient, I’m actually considering making a quick and dirty data entry app, so it’s easier to record stats. It’s becoming more of a chore than it needs to be, and can be done better. I find it ironic cause @Bigmurph brought up the idea, and I turned it down cause it was too much work, but now I’m feeling like spending a few days to build one, would save more time in the long run.

I generally try to avoid talking about some negative subjects, but gonna throw this in here just as a cliff note to my log. My recent unproductive habits at work have put me in a position where I need to find another job, even though I am not confident a new job will solve the problem.

I’m starting my log again this week. I’ll get my weight in the morning, and post an update.
