Weekend went perfect. 💯 adherence and even went out and had some fun. Spent Saturday shopping with and fucking one partner and spent Sunday on date with another partner (we saw Black Widow).

Last week I was over 10K steps every single day. Despite this, weight seems to have spiked a bit this morning. Not too miffed about it quite yet cuz the scale has been known to be a bit jumpy.

On a more personal note, I hit a huge milestone in Overwatch this weekend. Overwatch is my main side project — it’s important to me to improve at this game since, historically, I’ve never really stuck with a game long enough to become skilled at it.

Overwatch uses an ELO system (similar to
Chess) to measure skill, and this Platinum ranked skill rating means that I’m in the top 50th percentile in terms of skill. I’ve had this game for 5 goddamn years and I’m finally halfway decent at it. I’m sure no one cares, but this is a huge deal for me.

Got a great arm pump today. Can’t wait until it boosts the volume and intensity on these arms days.

Scale still isn’t moving yet, but I’m being patient. These things take time and sometimes the scale responds very late. Great compliance this week. I’m very satisfied with my performance during workouts.

That said, my sleep has definitely taken a hit. Getting myself back on sleep supplements. Also thinking about starting the HCG to see if that makes a difference cuz I didn’t have nearly as many problems sleeping on the tren during the summer and I was doing literally twice the gear I’m doing now.

Got my bloods back. Vitamin C and D were low and so is my iron. Estrogen is a bit high at 120 pg/ul so I’m thinking I’m gonna up the AI if I don’t see improvement on next check. I’m thinking I may have forgotten my AI dose that day.

Its probably you gaining muscle while losing weight muscle weighs more so you shouldn’t see the scale dip unless you are doing all crossfit or cardio.

I believe that this is going to go really well for you especially because you log everything and that’s really important to keep up with yourself

I do not! That’s the beauty of the app to be honest: I tracked calories for years and it’s pretty anxiety inducing during a cut. Using the app, you construct your meals to hit macro targets and everything in the app is built around those meals and macros. I listen to their podcast as well and they explicitly stated that the decision to leave calories out of the app was a deliberate one.

I think it’s an extremely smart decision.

Interesting will see if it works but tracking protein carbs and fats without calories could still be putting you above your deficit.
Unless im missing something that the app does?

Either way I look forward to see how everything turns out

@Bigmurph Yeah. As I mentioned earlier, the app dropped my macros because it saw that I wasn’t keeping up with the curve. Even though my weight is trending downward, as you can see above, the trend line is still above the green goal line, which is where the app thinks I should be at this time in my cut.

It’s also worth pointing out that tracking macros or calories is really the same thing, as you can easily calculate calories from macros if you want (fat x 9, protein x 4, carbs x 4).

Also, because the app is geared around constructing meals to hit my macros, I’m not really trying to “hit a target” per se, I’m just trying to make sure I’m compliant with my planned meals.

Every week the app will reevaluate where I am and make adjustments. Then I go thru and plan all my meals for the week. Of course, if plans change and I decide to go out to eat, I can also easily construct meals on the fly using their built in food and restaurant database.
