Josh's workout log with Titan Training

Thanks alot, I’d like to try and add more info about my exercises or routines but think this has been a good start. Considering its my first time ever even attempting at logging anything… im sure I’ll find better ways to keep my log more informative, maybe after my first 6 months with phd I’ll change it up! Currently what im working on with phd for training, diet, supps, etc needs to be kept between him and I, with me giving just basic updates! The log hopefully is enough to show progress like I’m hoping you guys can see… again anybody following thanks for your support and help in guidance!

You know what I do when I am not wanting to disclose actual exercises, routines or diet regimen @josh? I log how I am feeling. I share how my strength is doing. How my well being and mindset are currently. Any struggles that I might be having in the routine or diet. I grade my workout on a sliding scale for that day. If I have any diet or supplement changes I share with myself and others how the changes are making me feel and/or if they are having a positive effect. If I having any health related or injury issues I record those based on if they are improving or if they hindering my training. If I am ‘using’ I share sides, noticeable results, health… so on and so on. All of these things if recorded can be referenced in the future if you find yourself struggling and want to review what worked for or did not work for you in the past.

My own handwritten log book (@Ironside I use an old green barracks watch log book) is like reading a diary which for me is very beneficial. I have my routine and dietary needs listed but then I have a separate page for personal thoughts.

You get my point and I hope it helps you develop your own log style. The more your log relates to you instead of us the more value it will have to you in the future.

Very good points! Im going to copy what you stated and save it in so I can refer back to it for better logs to share. For sure some good ways to look back on past benefits and pit falls! I’ll probably end up with a notebook full of those colorful pieces of tape hanging out the sides like I had in college 👨‍🎓 👍! Thanks for the advice I think it’ll actually be easier doing it that way to look back on rather than trying to scroll threw my phone trying to find a past log in the forum or on the jefit app

Well gonna see how well this works out today, I thought I might have been getting a cold and this morning I wake up with for sure a sinus infection, and most likely an upper respiratory infection. Hoping that it’s not going to put to big of a hinder on my workout today because I’m really excited to make it to the gym today without having to feel rushed before wife takes off to work tonight…

Glad to see you logging bro. It really does help you to stay motivated, educated and inform others, it keeps you accountable and it’s a great way to look back on progress and even failures. Like @SemperFi, I keep a personal log book for just me to see. Theres some thoughts and feelings I have during lifting that maybe the rest if the world doesnt need to know about but it’s great to keep it for yourself. Everyone can see that I blatantly copied Fitravers style of logging but for me, it was an OCD thing and I find it’s simple and easy to read and understand so I don’t have to field a bunch of questions about "which ones were sets and which ones were reps and wait what exercise was that … etc. But just do what you do bro and type the log in whatever fashion comes naturally. However you want to go about it, the point is to have fun in this lifestyle so share whatever you want.

11/3 log
Shoulder/ chest/ tri day

Session length: 1hr 51min 37sec
Exercises done: 11
Goals acheived: 0 (that’s what the app says but personally feel I acheived a few goals that jefit doesn’t notice)
Weight lifted: 40827.5lbs (that there is one goal jefit isn’t factoring in)
Current weight: 193 (still hovering back and forth between 192 and 194)
Warm ups: 1 set each @ 20 reps for all exercises completed, 5 minutes on treadmill @6mph, and 3 sets of pushups @ 30 reps
Cardio: none for today

Felt good going into today’s workout. Had a big strong first meal, a preworkout snack and protein shake, intra workout drink, and post workout snack and protein shake… followed by a good 2nd meal of the day! Had tons of energy going into today’s routine and kept going until about 3/4 of the way threw, very noticeable in the last quarter of the workout that energy and power was diminishing quickly…(I am feeling sick today with a sinus infection and upper respiratory infection) possibly thinking the oxygen going in and out wasn’t even close to 100% so im thinking that could have been a major factor in the quick loss of power and energy. Idk but it happened. Also I still have more vitamins and supps coming from amazon tomorrow that should assist with that! Those will probably be mentioned in the next log or 2 depending on when they arrive, and i’l be excited to report my experience with a specific product that looks to be very interesting to me! Went on a little ramble but hope you guys enjoy reading

Let the portioning and weighing begin… there’s more that isn’t pictured but you get the point…
Steak, shrimp, salmon, chicken, turkey, rice, squash… more in fridge!

Funny how you mention getting a second fridge, because I was just talking with my buddy a few hours ago about it, because the meal prep is filling up space I can be using for other things like my kids… my buddy told me something about best buy is starting to do black Friday sales, but wasn’t sure if best buy sold refrigerators

Id have to say that it’s been about 2 times a week my wife and I get my meals prepped for a few days out, it’s more work but the food doesn’t spoil. I’ve done that once already and was so upset with myself because I grabbed my meals for the day at work, and half the stuff was no bueno! So needless to say I was pretty freaking hungry for about 75%of my shift

Vacuum bags brother. They are freakin awesome! Oh and so I’m not just making multiple posts for no reason, Best Buy, Lowes, Home Depot, Rent-a-center, Menards and quite a few others all have Black Friday sales on appliances.

Alright so amazon finally delivered the last of all my vitamins and supps… excited to see how this karbolyn does!

What’s your supplement regiment look like these days? I’ve been trying to lessen my pill regiment myself. Soon it will just be my multivitamin, omega’s, TUDCA, NAC and Nattokinase. That should get me down to about 7 pills a day instead of the 14 I take now.

The amount of pills that I will be taking now that everything is in, is a pretty big amount as far as daily consumption is concerned… i’ve got about half and half in powder and pills but only because I personally chose to buy a bunch of my stuff in bulk powder instead of buying stacks so I can mix and control what I’m consuming. So things like preworkout, intra workout, and post workout and like 1 or 2 morning supps are all powder… it’s a work in progress and something im playing around with based on what is in my plans with @PHD and his training protocol im involved in. So to answer your question at the moment, I wouldn’t be able to give you a straight forward and 100% accurate answer until i’ve been on everything for a little bit longer… and phd advises me if anything needs to change. I know that doesn’t answer your question but hopefully soon I’ll be able to answer that!💪👍

You shouldn’t be taking up that much room. I don’t have youneating that much lol. I cook mine and my girls foods for the week and we have plenty of room in our fridge. Unless you use one of those hotel ones. I use those during the week with my travel and it doesn’t even get that full.

Are you just putting all your food in single containers for the week or do it for the day?

Food prep is actually easy and convenient

And the orals I have you on is very mild. Are you taking more than I suggested?
Vit c
Vit d
Magnesium
Betain Hcl for digestion
Milk thistle
Tudca
Nac
Probiotic
Ala (helps break down your carbs for energy )
That is not a lot bro. This is standard you have to supplement with stuff like this for your body. You need liver support while on gear active people need vit d and c
