Geek’s Test is Best Recomp

It’s all risk and reward like @Dirtnasty said. It’s also VERY personal. The worst thing we can do is assume we will react to dose or a compound a certain way Bc that is how most people respond or that’s what someone said. We should all seek guidance but ultimately we should be seeking the minimal effective dose in everything to meet or exceed our goals. This is why I suggest people start out lower. I truly believe most folks (unless competing) don’t need 1-2 g of gear to find the sweet spot. One of the best cycles I’ve had was 300mg of test and 300mg of eq. We all need to use recommendations as a starting point to find what’s best for us.

You seem to do your research and know how you want to achieve your goals.

RP is certainly a top tool in the bag to get you there.

Maintenance hit at the perfect time — had some events scheduled this weekend. Had a party, a meeting with our wedding minister at a Thai place and hot date. I’m really proud how restrained I was. I saw a bit of a rebound this morning but that’s to be expected.

Deload week. Also tried my hand at some pull-ups and dips. Found out I have lost a lot of strength on these but I also wanna get a better dip bar for my gym cuz these are way far apart.

Deload week does a body good. Starting to see some definition in those arms. Got a great pump.

Yo fr tho periodization really works fam. I’m seeing faster growth this week than when I was doing moderate or high volumes and intensities. This is nuts. Y’all gotta try this.

Log​

I think I pulled a lat muscle on my right side. My lower lat on the right, between my hip and lower back, has been a angry since yesterday. Gonna call a chiropractor/soft tissue person today to take a look at it. About to foam roll it a wee bit too.

Cool it’s kinda undulating around the same area. Adherence has been good. Going to have some Red Robin tonight. Not gonna go nuts on the French fries, but definitely gonna enjoy that burger and Diet Coke 🙂
 

Log​

Ended my maintenance week this week to find the app doesn’t think I should cut again so soon. I asked it to maintain me 6 lbs lower than my current weight.

So I’ll be doing the next couple of months or so at or near maintenance. Next time I’ll do a 13 week cut after this log is over. In the meantime, looks like it’s time to enjoy some recomp!

I got my recomp goodies in today as well. On Monday, I’ll be adding in the SomaLong, T4 and Metformin to assist with recomp.
