@Bigmurph i worked in a lot of different cool places when I was younger and just turned out as a journeyman. Put the family on the back burner and boomed out to chase big money jobs… I’d love to do it again before I retire, but with my wife this time. The first time around without her led to alot of sin, we’ve discussed that… might be a little more fun doing it right the second time around

I think it should be a requirement for guys in my trade, steamfitters/welders, to travel for at least 6 months after you turn out. It’ll open your eyes quick to the trade, and how shit really works. There’s thousands of powerhouses, refineries, foundries, ethanol and bio fuel plants all over the country. The best work is in Microchip plants… that’s clean food/medical grade process welding… high purity, it’s like the gravy train on biscuit wheels of work

Working away from home is always filled with temptations that are hard with no accountability. Being surrounded by the right people always makes a difference.

At a job site safety orientation now it takes three hours. Ugghhhh. Hopefully I don’t fall asleep

Hi @Rusty moving sucks, I swore that when I got the house I’m in I wouldn’t move ever again, tired of that shit, and I am trying to sell the house a d buy another one, what the fuck

@John, SIN is everywhere around us, and unfortunately I ALWAYS seem to find it, and give in to temptation… 2nd time around with my wife tagging along it will be much better!

Hey whatever works right…half the smart decisions ive made overall the last few years were strictly because of the wife n kid, meaning if I didn’t have them, poor decisions probably would have been made.
