For sure bro. I love taking two hours on big muscle group days. Leg or chest or back. If I can get 1.5-2 minutes between sets I can move a lot more weight all together with more reps.

But with small muscle groups like biceps triceps shoulders calves I can do just fine with thirty seconds between sets
 
I’m now officially on 20mg of telmisratan a day. Sooooo with my diabetes under control mostly and the glutathione….im looking forward to 40 more quality years on this rock.

Warmup with body squats and walk

Everything was done atg (azz to grass)

Hack squat 3 count down coming up contracting all muscles. Feet almost touching each other. Sets of 10

Superset with for 3 sets each

Belt squat pumping up and down just short of full extension. Sets of 12-16.

Superset with for 3 sets each

More belt squats pumping up and down short of full extension… sets of 12-16. 2 reps shy of failure.

Mystery solved. I can’t believe I didn’t know this already. Wifey was late on supper and I was getting twitchy due to hypoglycemia…pretty bad this time. That will cause high blood pressure or at least an elevation. Interesting.

Bench press with ladder bar and 2 wheels. All sets split with equal amount of reps on each hand position; 3 positions narrow med wide

9, 9, 12, 15, 21… just narrow 16

Tri push downs face pulls bus drivers YTW’s abs…3 giant sets with high reps.

Post wo meal homemade chicken salad with hard boiled eggs.

I’m drinking my pump pwo now then protein shake then off to get shit done myself not much but have to get out of house and do something. Almost feels I stayed with y ex just so I wasn’t alone all the time

The diet part is literally a matter of life or death (slow agonizing death). I still get slack on it from time to time.
 
I get that for sure. I’d definitely choose life over death. Any day. Especially when it’s something in your power to control.
 
I’ve had 3 old men that live in my neighborhood…2 of them were brothers the other was the husband of their sister.

All 3 of the died in the last 4 years or so at the ages of 69-71… all diabetics that didn’t take care of their selves. They all looked terrible and died over the course of years… miserable drunk and handicapped.

Not me brother. I’m going down swinging!
 
My roommates dad is diabetic. I came home a while back and he had eaten a whole box of push pop ice creams I had here for my kids. Then drank a bunch of Mountain Dews and beer. Every time he comes by he gorges his self. Then lays in bed for days after. I pity him but at the same time he’s a grown man and knows exactly what he’s doing to himself.
 
My grandmother lived for more than 30 years as a type 2 diabetic and made no attempt to control it. There is definitely hope for you since you’re actually taking steps to control it. I’m sure you’ll live to be and old old man poppy!
 
Historically, eating what I wanted got me to 235/240 pretty quickly, but I was slow and sleepy. Strong, but didn’t look or feel the way I wanted, so no go. I now hover at 215 with much less bodyfat and feel good, but not not as strong.
