Yeah, I’m at the other end right now, where I massed during COVID when I probably should have cut. My head was not in the right place at the time, despite my gym staying open basically the whole time. So I went on a bulk last summer and then fell off the nutrition wagon after the bulk. Instead of doing a proper maintenance I got hooked on food deliveries, leading to another 20 lb gain.
Another mistake I made was coming off the sauce – I should have stayed on a cruise at the very least. I never left the gym, but my volume drastically dropped as I fell back on my trainer’s workouts. Which, to say the least, were not anywhere near as well structured as mine are currently; in fact, that’s one of the reasons I dumped his dumb ass.
This time is different. This time I know who I am and what I am setting out to do.
